UTSA International Trade Center Assistant Director to Speak at Export Conference in Guam

San Antonio, October 23, 2014 – The International Trade Center, an SBDC at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Institute for Economic Development, announced today that Center Assistant Director Doug Smith will speak at an exporting conference in Guam.

The event, 2014 Women in Business Conference: “Made Local. Go Global,” has been organized by the Guam SBDC. The event will be a primer for local companies who are looking to expand their reach into new international markets.

“Guam is in a great position to take advantage of exporting to regional markets such as Japan, Hong Kong and China,” said Doug Smith, International Trade Center Assistant Director. “We are proud to be able to participate in this event; it’s a great way to build relationships with other SBDCs.”

The event will be held October 24, 2014 at the Westin Resort Guam in Tumon, GU.
