Barbara Mooney

Ms. Barbara Mooney has worked at the International Trade Center since 2007. In her most recent position as an SBDC Global Instructor Coordinator, Barbara provides training and consulting assistance to foreign governments in Latin America and the Caribbean on how to establish small business assistance networks based on the U.S. SBDC model.

In her previous role as an International Business Consultant, Barbara provided trade-consulting assistance to small- and medium-size businesses in the South-West Texas Border region. She also conducted market research in the area of international trade development and provided import-export training for small business clients. Prior to working as a consultant, Barbara managed the International Trade Center import-export training programs, planning, developing and coordinating training events in the United States and Mexico.

Barbara has a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business and a MBA with a concentration in Project Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Barbara is also a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) and has earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) Accreditation.
