International Trade Center announces partnership with the GSACCC

San Antonio, TX – The International Trade Center and the Greater San Antonio Chinese Chamber of Commerce (GSACCC) have agreed to jointly increase and promote US-China trade. This will be accomplished by linking the International Trade Center’s consulting, training and market research services with the experience and connections of the GSACCC and its membership.
“We are very pleased to sign a partnership agreement with the Greater San Antonio Chinese Chamber of Commerce and are looking forward to working with them in helping San Antonio area firms successfully do business in China” said Cliff Paredes, Director of the International Trade Center.

Under this agreement, the International Trade Center and the GSACC will collaborate in providing technical trade consulting, market research and training services for San Antonio area businesses interested in entering the rapidly developing Chinese market. The goal of the agreement is to increase the internal capacity of San Antonio area firms to successfully do business in China and to improve their overall global competitiveness.

The International Trade Center recently hosted the first-ever Business China Executive Training Program to assist local small businesses and entrepreneurs in conducting trade in Asia. It has also recently hired a China-focused International Business Consultant, to help its clients navigate the complex Chinese market and to increase their sales.

“There is a historic opportunity for San Antonio area firms to enter the Chinese marketplace and this partnership is focused on preparing them for success by providing hands-on consulting, market research and training assistance. The GSACCC will provide their considerable in-country expertise and connections in China while the International Trade Center will provide its 16-plus years of consulting excellence and extensive market research capabilities to help San Antonio area businesses succeed in China.” said Paredes.

Future co-programming efforts between the International Trade Center and the Chinese Chamber include “China: Threats or Opportunities?” on October 7th, and “Using Letters of Credit in China” on November 13th.
