Who We Are

The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Small Business Development Center (SBDC) International Trade Center is one of the largest and the most successful trade assistance organizations in the State of Texas. Established in 1992, it provides businesses with high-value advising services, cutting-edge market research and innovative training programs that deliver results.

The Center also assists foreign small and medium-sized companies who are looking to establish a company in Texas through the Texas International Business Accelerator (TIBA). In addition, the Center hosts the UTSA Center for Global Development, which is the world’s foremost expert in helping countries adopt and adapt the SBDC model throughout all phases of development.
